Today was a much better day than yesterday! I woke up praying that my tire wouldn't be flat...it wasn't! My truck is now back in business! Though after filling it up with gas this morning I did have to remind myself why I love my truck so much.
My friend and I took a trip this morning to Hickam to look into space a flights for this summer. You would think they could make it a little easier. It's quite a process just to catch a flight. I must say it will be worth it to save a couple grand though. Next week I have to make a trip to Trint's company to get the paperwork process started. Say a prayer that it all goes well and we can get on a flight during the time frame we're hoping to.

Today was finally the day for the kids Easter Surprise! Okay it wasn't much of a surprise, but it was before I told them about it a week ago. As soon as Tristan walked in the door after school we headed to the movie theater. Our movie of choice was of course.... Hop! It was for Easter after all. It was a very cute movie. I wanted to reach in a grab E.B. out of the screen and cuddle him up. What a cute cuddley little bunny.

After the movie we went to dinner at Ihop. We had fun, but I was not impressed with the restaurant. As soon as we opened the door I pictured Alaska. It was that cold in there. I said something to our waitress who said the control on the thermostat was broken so they couldn't adjust the temperature. She then added that the control for the music was broken too so they couldn't turn it down any. The music wasn't that loud so I wasn't concerned with that. I did however seriously think we would all turn to ice sculptures. I get cold easily anyhow, but this was ridiculous. Our waitress was really good though. She was very friendly and I could tell she was freezing too. I felt bad for her. At least after we ate we could leave and get warm again. She, on the other hand, was stuck there for her whole shift. I don't think we'll be going back there any time soon. I wasn't very impressed with the food either. It was okay, but last time we went there it was so much better. They must have a new cook or something. I love stuffed french toast, but this time it was not soft and goey like it's supposed to be. The outside was kinda chewy and the freezing temp in the building cooled it off before I even finished my hashbrowns and eggs. I eat the french toast last because it's more like a desert, but I should have eaten it first this time. However, then the rest would have been cold and cold eggs and hashbrowns are no good at all. Oh well, no matter. We had a good time together and fun night out. That's what mattered the most! My kids are the best...most of the time anyways. HeHe
